What is a supervising immigration attorney?

Supervising Immigration Attorneys are experienced lawyers who oversee and manage other attorneys and legal staff handling immigration cases. They provide guidance on complex legal matters, ensure compliance with immigration laws, and help develop legal strategies for clients. In addition to supervising casework, they may also conduct training, review legal documents, and represent clients in court or before government agencies. Their role is essential in maintaining high standards of legal practice and ensuring effective client representation in immigration matters.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a supervising immigration attorney, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Supervising Immigration Attorney, you need a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, a license to practice law, substantial experience in immigration law, and prior supervisory or management experience.
