Established in 2015, we are a small immigration law firm located in Richmond, Virginia. Our firm focuses on removal defense, family immigration, humanitarian immigration, and other immigration matters. We pride ourselves on excellent client service while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are a welcoming team looking for someone who fits well with our culture. We currently refer a significant amount of business immigration work to outside firms and are looking for an attorney who can help us rebuild and expand this practice area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a growing practice and play a key role in its long-term success.


The Candidate

We are seeking a Business Immigration Attorney with 3+ years of experience who is excited about helping rebuild and grow our business immigration practice.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of business immigration matters, conducting initial consultations, advising corporate clients, and developing strong referral and client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney who enjoys business development and wants to help establish and grow a thriving business immigration practice.

Candidates with an existing book of business are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations with prospective business immigration clients
  • Own and manage business immigration legal cases from inception to completion
  • Advise clients on visas, compliance requirements, and business immigration strategy
  • Develop and execute business development initiatives to grow the firm's business immigration practice
  • Build and maintain referral sources and client relationships
  • Transition and manage existing client relationships and matters brought to the firm
  • Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to prepare filings and deliver exceptional client service


Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active admission to any U.S. state bar or the District of Columbia
  • 3+ years of business immigration experience
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated business development abilities and interest in growing a practice area
  • Ability to independently manage cases and provide strategic legal counsel


Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing book of business or demonstrated ability to generate new business
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia or Maryland
  • Fluency in Spanish (oral and written)
