At Monroe Biomedical Research, we are growing, and were looking for a driven, patient-focused experienced Business Development Director o join our team immediately.


As our Business Development Director, you'll be at the forefront of identifying and securing fresh clinical trial opportunities for our expanding site locations. Your role will involve strategic planning, market analysis, and building strong relationships with industry leaders, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and CROs. Were looking for someone with a strong background in the clinical research industry, a proven track record in business development, and a deep understanding of clinical trial operations at the site level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Senior Vice President, Business Development to craft and execute a winning business development strategy, expanding our portfolio and capabilities.
  • Build andmaintainstrong connections with decision-makers in pharma, biotech, CROs, and other key organizations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of trends, opportunities, and challenges in clinical research.
  • Lead targeted BD efforts based on industry insights and MBRs unique site capabilities.
  • Partner closely with MBR Site Directors and Managers to ensure BD milestones are achieved, such assubmittinginterest to study brokers, executing NDAs, completing feasibility questionnaires, and scheduling site visits.
  • Monitor and report on BD activities, outcomes, and ROI to senior management via our CRM system.
  • Represent MBR at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events toshowcaseour services and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop materials that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development
  • Experience inthe clinicalresearchindustry: Knowledge of clinical trial processes and site operations.Understandingthe industry landscape and key industry players.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability toanalyze data,identifyopportunities, and develop solutions to address challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, internalteamsand external stakeholders.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
