In this high-impact role, you'll lead market growth efforts by identifying, pursuing, and closing new B2B service contracts for commercial landscape maintenance. This is not a transactional sales role-it's a strategic, consultative position centered on identifying client needs and designing service solutions that align with RCI's operational strengths and long-term partnership philosophy.
You'll serve as the face of RCI in your region, building trust with key decision-makers, crafting compelling proposals, and guiding prospects through the entire sales journey-from discovery to signed contract to successful onboarding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Business Development Efforts: Proactively identify and target high-value commercial clients within your market.
- Execute Prospecting Strategy: Use a combination of cold outreach, referrals, networking, etc.
- Conduct Client Discovery: Perform on-site walkthroughs and host consultative meetings.
- Develop Tailored Proposals: Collaborate with teams to build custom service solutions.
- Present & Close: Deliver persuasive presentations and guide prospects to decision-making.
- Sales Process Management: Own your pipeline, CRM tracking, and deal stages.
- Performance Accountability: Meet or exceed metrics for outreach, meetings, proposals, and revenue.
- Transition & Retention: Ensure smooth onboarding and early-stage satisfaction.
- Market Representation: Attend networking events and increase RCI visibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field-or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in service-based industries
- Demonstrated success in long-cycle consultative sales environments
- Ability to build rapport with senior-level decision-makers

- Solution-Oriented Thinking
- Emotional Intelligence
- Strategic Hustle
- Growth Mindset
- Team Collaboration
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary: Starting at $65,000 - $100,000 annually
- Commission Program: Uncapped earning potential
- Monthly Allowances: Vehicle and phone stipends
- Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplemental coverage
- Retirement Plan: 401K with employer match
- Time Off: Vacation, sick leave, and holidays
- Professional Growth: Mentorship and leadership development
