Job description

Anders Group is currently looking for a technically savvy, solution-driven professional to support, optimize, and enhance the technologies that power our business. The Business Applications Specialist serves as the primary support resource for Anders Group technologies, including Salesforce, Sense, and other business applications, helping team members maximize efficiency and resolve technical issues quickly.

The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting issues, gathering requirements, improving workflows, building automations, and helping others leverage technology effectively. This role reports to the Director of IT Project Management and partners with vendors and key business stakeholders to support technology initiatives, system enhancements, reporting, process improvements, and project build-outs across the organization.

  • Partner with business leaders to improve processes, build automations, and implement technology solutions that support company goals
  • Support technology projects from planning through implementation, including testing, training, and user adoption
  • Analyze data, maintain system integrity, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the organization

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary support resource for Anders Group technologies including Salesforce, Sense, and other business applications
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to internal users by troubleshooting system issues, answering questions, and identifying solutions
  • Log, track, and manage support requests through resolution while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, Sense, and other core business systems
  • Configure applications including user setup, permissions, workflows, fields, reports, dashboards, and system enhancements
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and leadership decision-making
  • Analyze data across multiple systems to identify inconsistencies, improve data integrity, and support business objectives
  • Gather requirements from business leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements
  • Partner with the Director of IT Project Management to plan, execute, and support technology projects and system implementations
  • Participate in project build-outs including requirement gathering, testing, documentation, user acceptance testing, deployment, and training
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Recruiting, Operations, Payroll, Billing, HR, and Leadership to ensure systems support business needs
  • Develop and maintain training materials, system documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
  • Attend vendor meetings, document action items, and follow through on project and support-related deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and technology adoption across the organization
  • Conduct regular audits of system data and workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and/or 2+ years of technology, systems administration, business systems, or technical support experience.
  • Experience supporting SaaS-based business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to support users at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
