Location: Tampa, FL
Type: Direct Hire

Job Summary:
System One is seeking a Business Application Developer for a full-time/permanent opportunity with a defense simulation company, onsite in Tampa, FL. The Business Application Developer provides design, implementation, and technical support for key business applications including Epicor ERP, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Office, and Jira. This role will interact with business stakeholders at all levels to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes and works to translate those processes as required into tools, workflows, reports, and other software system capabilities.
Responsibilities
  • Management, maintenance, development, and support of SQL-based applications including Epicor ERP.
  • Coding and scripting including C#, VBScript/VBA, SQL queries/stored procedures.
  • Administration of SQL Server and Windows-based application servers.
  • Application troubleshooting and issue resolution on Windows-based workstation computers.
  • System documentation and development of procedures and work instructions.
  • Manage the implementation and delivery of assigned projects meeting established timelines, budgets and expectations of quality. Participate in support activities that relate to application support.
  • Manage changes in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4+ years of experience managing Microsoft SQL server (Required).
  • 2-4+ years of coding or scripting experience in any language (C#, VBA/VBScript, or SQL Preferred).
  • 2-4+ years of experience with maintaining an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • 4-year degree with a technical major, or equivalent experience (Required)
  • Experience with Epicor ERP platform (Kinetic a plus)
  • Experience with Job Pack production scheduling software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office macros and VBA development along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira Software or a similar issue-tracking application
  • U.S. Citizenship Required: Must Be Able to Obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
