We are looking for a Business Intelligence Business Partner to join Ambu's Global Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics team. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our U.S. Commercial and Finance organizations, helping leaders leverage data, analytics, and reporting to make better decisions and achieve their strategic objectives.
As part of a growing global BI function headed out of Denmark, you will work closely with stakeholders across the US while collaborating with colleagues in Denmark and other international locations. This is a unique opportunity to combine business partnership, analytics, and Power BI expertise in an organization committed to strengthening its data-driven culture.

What You'll Do
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Build trusted relationships with Commercial, Finance, and Operations leaders to understand business priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, helping stakeholders leverage data and insights to improve performance and support decision-making.
  • Facilitate discussions around KPI development, performance measurement, and reporting strategies.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Translate business questions and requirements into meaningful reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain intuitive Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
  • Deliver insights that help identify trends, opportunities, risks, and drivers of business performance.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc business reviews with high-quality reporting and analysis.

Driving Adoption & Continuous Improvement
  • Champion a data-driven culture by promoting the effective use of reporting and analytics across the organization.
  • Deliver training, guidance, and support to maximize user adoption and business value.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and stakeholder confidence in BI solutions.
  • Contribute to global BI initiatives, reporting enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts.

Governance & Standards
  • Maintain documentation, business definitions, reporting standards, and KPI frameworks.
  • Partner with the Global BI team to improve reporting capabilities and support scalable, best-practice solutions.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of solid experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Financial Analytics, Reporting, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI, including dashboard design, report development, and stakeholder-facing analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting Commercial, Sales, Finance, or Operations teams through data, reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of KPI development, performance management, and reporting best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into impactful reporting solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across multiple functions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing and developing Power BI semantic models.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and analytics.
  • Experience working within a global and matrixed organization.
