Job Summary:
Persons Services Corp is a dynamic and rapidly expanding construction firm operating across the United States and the Caribbean. They are seeking an innovative AI-Assisted Internal Business Application Developer to build and improve internal tools that enhance operational productivity and decision-making through the integration of AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Build and improve internal business applications that solve real operational problems across our divisions
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI to improve workflows, productivity, and decision-making throughout the organization
• Design and develop front-end and back-end solutions using modern web technologies including Node.js, Tailwind, and SQL, with cloud-hosted infrastructure on AWS and Postgres
• Use AI coding tools effectively to accelerate development while applying careful judgment to review and validate all outputs
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into working, maintainable applications and iterate rapidly based on feedback
• Work confidently in CLI environments, VPN-connected systems, and cloud-hosted services
• Learn new platforms and technologies quickly — including emerging tools like Antigravity — and bring recommendations for continuous improvement
• Manage projects with healthy independence while maintaining clear, proactive communication on priorities and progress
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• Demonstrated coding experience, preferably including full-stack web development
• Familiarity with or eagerness to quickly learn Node.js, Tailwind, SQL, GitHub, AWS, and Postgres
• Comfortable in command-line environments and working within developer toolchains
• Strong interest in using AI as an active part of the development workflow — for prompting, coding, debugging, and code review
• Curious, resourceful, and excited by new and emerging technologies — willing to experiment and learn in real time
• Self-directed with strong communication skills; able to work independently between check-ins and keep projects moving forward
• Detail-oriented with strong reviewer instincts and good judgment about when something is 'done' vs. when it needs more work
Preferred:
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience through internships, freelance, or personal projects
• Someone who embodies our Core Values and can represent our company with distinction
Company:
Persons Services Corp. Founded in 1978, the company is headquartered in Mobile, USA, with a team of 201-500 employees. The company is currently Growth Stage.
