Job description

Job Summary:
IPG is a global leader in packaging and protective solutions, committed to innovation and sustainability. They are seeking a Business Application Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of business applications on the Microsoft cloud platform, providing hands-on experience with modern development tools and enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Azure / Power Platform.
• Support the creation of cloud-based applications, APIs, and integrations
• Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile team ceremonies
• Learn and apply best practices for cloud development, security, and performance
• Help troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Actively learn new Azure services, programming frameworks, and development tools
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational programming experience gained through coursework, internships, co-ops, or personal projects
• Basic experience with one or more programming languages such as: C# / .NET, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python
• Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Power Platform concepts (academic projects or labs acceptable)
• Understanding of basic web development concepts (APIs, databases, client/server architecture)
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback
• Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
• Internship, co-op, or capstone project involving: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, or Azure SQL, Cloud application development, Agile or Scrum teams
• Exposure to DevOps tools or concepts (CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Experience with Power Platform, Logic Apps, or automation tools
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or similar certification
