Job Summary

This is a full-time, ten-month, term-contract faculty appointment in the Business Administration Program within the Business, Computers, and Information Systems Division. The position requires flexibility of scheduling, which will include both on-campus and online classes, and is intended to fulfill our Business Administration instruction needs.

Job Duties:

  • Lead in-person and online instruction related to Business Administration.
  • Maintain at least five in-person office hours per week.
  • Advise current and prospective students for program and career-related counseling.
  • Participate in recruitment and retention activities.
  • Participate in department and college committees as assigned.
  • Provide input regarding curriculum development and enhancement.
  • Complete all required College and KCTCS mandatory trainings in addition to attending other professional development activities relevant to personal interest.
  • Develop and maintain working relationship with local industry.
  • Enforce high expectations related to professional behavior (including punctuality, respect for leadership, teamwork, and written/verbal communication skills).
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administrationย 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of teaching experience with both face-to-face and online formats.
  • Experience with Blackboard and other instructional technology.
