Branch Operations Manager– Equipment Rental / Operations

We are seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to lead operations, sales growth, customer service, and financial performance for an established equipment rental and service operation.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, managing equipment availability, driving customer growth, and ensuring strong operational and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of a branch or regional equipment rental business.
  • Ensure equipment inventory is available, properly maintained, and ready to meet customer demand.
  • Oversee equipment inspections, repairs, and compliance with applicable safety and transportation regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while driving new business growth.
  • Develop pricing strategies and monitor market conditions to maximize utilization and profitability.
  • Review operational reports, KPIs, and financial metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Oversee rental contracts, invoicing, collections, and customer account management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch employees and service personnel.
  • Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term growth planning.
  • Maintain facility standards and support expansion opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in equipment rental, transportation, fleet management, industrial services, construction equipment, or related industries.
