Job description

Our company Contractor Manager www.ContractorManager.com is currently seeking ​a Construction Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for basic bookkeeping functions with a heavy emphasis in Quickbooks. We are looking for someone to work in our Kentfield office. We represent local contractors of all trades who outsource their accounting to us. We handle all the day to day bookkeeping services for them. Starting pay is $25.00 Hr. Must have Quickbooks experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • AP/AR
  • Reconcile checking accounts and credit card statements
  • Run payroll
  • Do customer invoicing
  • Compute and record numerical data
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • This is not a training position. Must have verifiable high level QuickBooks and construction bookkeeping experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • At least 2 years full-time work as a construction bookkeeper using QuickBooks
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • MUST HAVE A Great ATTITUDE AND SENSE OF HUMOR
  • Ability to work well with others but also be a self starter and work well on their own.
  • Must live within 60 minutes of our office in Kentfield
