Business specializing in government training and consulting is seeking a full-time experienced bookkeeper to assist in managing day-to-day bookkeeping and finance requirements. The candidate must value confidentiality, accuracy and have a minimum of 3 years experience working with QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities include:

  • managing accounts payable and receivable,
  • matching purchase orders with invoices, paying vendor invoices,
  • tracking bank account balances and making bank deposits,
  • maintaining city and state licenses
  • filing taxes and reporting financial reports regularly to management.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Above average bookkeeping skills and experience
  • Above average proficiency and experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Drafting financial records (including Profit and Loss statements, Balance statements, etc)
  • Ability to multitask and self-manage time and tasks.
  • Trustworthy - ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ensure clear and effective interaction with team members.
