Position Summary:
The GlenFields Care Coordinator supports daily administrative and operational functions in a skilled nursing environment, maintaining accurate financial records, including resident trust accounts, insurance verification and payer coordination. Utilizes electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems to reconcile financial data tied to resident services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient coordination with billing and clinical documentation teams.
Education and Experience:
  • Must be a high school graduate with average typing skills and bookkeeping experience.
  • 2 years bookkeeping experience, preferably in an acute care/long-term care setting.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Previous clerical experience (SNF setting preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience with EHR systems

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
