We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative & Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position (40 hours per week) that plays a key role in supporting our daily office operations, financial recordkeeping, payroll, and tax administration.

Position: Administrative & Bookkeeping Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Work Arrangement: In-Person
Salary: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office calendars.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems for company and employee records.
- Purchase and monitor office supplies, equipment, and stationery to ensure efficient office operations.
- Prepare business documents, reports, invoices and other administrative correspondence.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts and assist with monthly financial reporting.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, maintain payroll records, and monitor employee leave balances.
- Assist with payroll tax reporting, statutory deductions, and other tax-related compliance requirements.
- Provide administrative and operational support to management and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field. An associate's or bachelor's degree is an asset.
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles, payroll processing, and tax reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and other standard office applications.
