Schedule: Mondayโ€“Thursday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $35โ€“$65
Pay Schedule: Twice monthly on the 5th and 20th

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair light-duty diesel vehicles.

  • Perform advanced mechanical and automotive electrical diagnostics.

  • Complete maintenance, minor repairs, and major repair jobs.

  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and troubleshoot difficult mechanical and electrical concerns.

  • Use modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify vehicle issues accurately.

  • Document vehicle inspections, diagnostic findings, and completed repairs accurately.

  • Complete quality repairs efficiently and correctly the first time.

  • Collaborate with service advisors, the parts manager, and other technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional, in-shop automotive or light-duty diesel experience.

  • Strong light-duty diesel diagnostic and repair skills; this opening is not for a heavy-duty diesel or entry-level technician.

  • Strong mechanical and automotive electrical diagnostic ability.

  • Experience with Ford, GM, or Ram/Dodge diesel platforms or an independent light-duty diesel shop is highly desirable.

  • Ability to perform complete vehicle inspections and work efficiently in a flat-rate environment.

  • Comfortable using modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment, including equipment such as Autel, Snap-on, and TOPDON.

  • ASE certifications, Shop-Ware experience, and digital vehicle inspection experience are preferred, not required.
