Job description

Crawford Transmission Repair, Inc. is a small business in Champaign, IL. We are fast-paced, fun and engaging.

We are looking for an experienced R&R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the removal and re-installation of automotive Transmissions. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and in a team environment, follow instructions accurately, and troubleshoot any problems that may arise during the installation process. The Installation Technician will also be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair automotive transmissions.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems.
  • Follow safety protocols when working around vehicles and equipment.
  • Provide customer service and technical support.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
