Job Description:
o 5+ years of recent relevant experience
o Work experience on Automotive Occupant safety components [Airbag, Occupant Sensor, ODS and Seat belt]
o Mechanical Design Engineer with Catia V6 tool expertise
o Perform feasibility study - with respect to Safety components [for ex. [Steering wheel Airbag, Seat Airbag and Seat belts]
o Packaging study of Safety components [Steering wheel Airbag, Seat belts, and Seat airbag]
o Design and development of Safety system components (ODS, Seats belts, Air bags).
o Knowledge on Testing and validation of Safety system/components
o Knowledge on regulatory requirements with respect to safety systems and components (FMVSS regulations)
o Knowledge on evolving and new technologies on Safety system parts
