Job Summary: The Folder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining bindery and finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials according to customer specifications and production schedules. This role ensures accuracy, quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate folder machines according to job specifications.
  • Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production schedules.
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve proper folds and product quality.
  • Monitor production runs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, alignment, and proper folding.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues during production.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of folding equipment.
