Description:Join Our Team

We are a growing commercial printing company looking for an experienced Bindery Lead to help lead our second shift operations.

This is a hands-on production position. You’ll spend the majority of your time operating bindery equipment while working alongside a small team of approximately five bindery assistants. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

If you’re an experienced bindery operator ready to take on a leadership role without leaving the production floor, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As the Bindery Lead, you will:

· Operate bindery equipment throughout the shift.

· Lead a team of approximately five bindery helpers.

· Assign work and keep production moving efficiently.

· Ensure jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

· Train and mentor new employees.

· Review job tickets and verify production requirements.

· Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems.

· Maintain quality standards throughout every job.

· Communicate production status and any issues to management.

· Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Equipment Experience

Experience operating commercial bindery equipment such as:

· Polar paper cutters

· Stahl folders

· Saddle stitchers

· Perfect binders

· Laminators

· Die cutters

· Shrink wrap equipment

· Padding equipment

· Banding equipment

· Packaging and fulfillment equipment

Experience with automated finishing equipment is a plus.
