Bilingual Job Trainer

Job Title: Bilingual Job Trainer

Location: DFW
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Department: Workforce Development / Employment Services
Reports To: Program Manager / Director

Position Summary

The Bilingual Job Trainer provides individualized and group-based job training, coaching, and employment support to job seekers, including individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment. This role supports job readiness, on-the-job training, workplace adjustment, and employer coordination to ensure successful, competitive employment outcomes. The Job Trainer delivers services in both English and Spanish (or other required language) and maintains professional documentation in compliance with program and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on, individualized job training and on-the-job coaching at employer worksites
  • Deliver job readiness instruction, including workplace behaviors, communication skills, and task sequencing
  • Support individuals in learning job duties using appropriate training and accommodation strategies
  • Communicate effectively with employers, supervisors, and coworkers to support placement success
  • Conduct job analyses and task breakdowns to support training plans
  • Monitor employee progress and provide feedback to improve performance and independence
  • Assist with workplace accommodations and support natural supports where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and service notes
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case coordination as required
  • Travel to employer worksites and community locations as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Associateโ€™s degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related field (required)
  • Bilingual proficiency (spoken and written) in English and Spanish (or designated language)
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, diverse populations, or employment programs
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in community and employment settings
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass required background checks and training requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, or workforce development programs
  • Knowledge of job coaching techniques, accommodations, and employer engagement
  • Familiarity with state or federally funded employment programs
  • Experience with documentation and compliance requirements

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods
  • Ability to model job tasks and provide hands-on instruction
  • Comfortable working in a variety of workplace environments
