American Safety Traffic Control is hiring Crew Members to join our field teams. This is a great opportunity for reliable, safety-minded individuals who want to build a career in traffic control and work outdoors as part of a team. You'll be part of a 2-4 person crew setting up and maintaining safe work zones for contractors and the traveling public.

While the position is considered part-time or seasonal, our goal is to provide full-time hours whenever possible. However, hours may vary depending on weather, contractor schedules, holidays, and job cancellations. Flexibility and reliable transportation are essential.


Responsibilities:

As an American Safety Traffic Control Member, you are responsible for maintaining a safe traffic site, controlling traffic flow, site setup and takedown. Crew members are also responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's professional image and adhering to the Company's policies, procedures, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, and take down traffic control zones following company and DOT standards
  • Direct traffic using flags, signs, radios, and hand signals
  • Wear and maintain proper PPE at all times
  • Communicate clearly with the Crew Lead and team members
  • Participate in daily safety briefings and follow job site procedures
  • Help maintain truck inventory and job site documentation

  • Instalar, mantener y retirar zonas de control de trafico siguiendo los estandares de la empresa y del DOT
  • Dirigir el trafico utilizando banderas, senales, radios y senas manuales
  • Usar y mantener el equipo de proteccion personal (EPP) en todo momento
  • Comunicarse claramente con el Lider de Cuadrilla y los demas miembros del equipo
  • Participar en reuniones de seguridad diarias y seguir los procedimientos del sitio de trabajo
  • Ayudar a mantener el inventario del camion y la documentacion del sitio
