Job description

✨ Staff Trainer – Spanish-Speaking Required | Hybrid Role
Kindly Direct Care | Full-Time or Part-Time | $55,000–$65,000/year

At Kindly Direct Care, we believe great care starts with strong, compassionate training. We’re looking for a bilingual Staff Trainer (Spanish-speaking required) to support the development of our amazing team who care for individuals with developmental disabilities across New Jersey.

? What You’ll Do:
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions in both English and Spanish — covering topics like medication administration, de-escalation strategies, CPR/First Aid, documentation, and more

  • Provide a warm and informative onboarding experience to new hires

  • Evaluate staff performance and confidence through observation and coaching

  • Keep training materials updated and ensure accurate documentation

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and support staff retention

  • Ensure compliance with DDD, DHS, and all relevant standards

  • Mentor employees and help foster a culture of learning and support

✅ What We’re Looking For:
  • Fluency in Spanish (required) – many of our staff speak Spanish, and your ability to train and connect with them in their preferred language is essential

  • At least 1 year of experience in training, staff development, or human services

  • Familiarity with DDD policies and behavioral support strategies preferred

  • Confident public speaking and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel within NJ (must have driver’s license and reliable car)

  • CPR Instructor certification and bilingual education experience a plus

  • Flexible full-time or part-time (up to 40 hours/week)
