JOB MISSION 

Pacific Lifestyle Homes is seeking a BI Manager responsible for delivering high-quality data insights, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making across the organization. This role leads the development and management of data models, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.


As BI Manager, you will own the company's Power BI reporting environment and data architecture, partnering closely with the Business Systems function and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. This role requires strong analytical capability, data engineering awareness, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical users.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and optimize SQL Server data warehouse environment 
  • Oversee ETL processes including Azure Automation runbooks and InformXL Datamart 
  • Own Power BI ecosystem: semantic models, dataflows, DAX, apps 
  • Maintain 80-100 reports and ensure consistent metrics 
  • Manage Power BI gateway infrastructure 
  • Analyze business drivers (job cost, margins, operations) 
  • Ensure data governance, KPI consistency, and RLS 
  • Oversee integration of external data sources (GA4, RMLS, Salesforce, Supermetrics, monday.com) 
  • Lead BI roadmap and future team development 
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT to deliver insights 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: 

  • 15+ years BI / analytics experience 
  • Strong Power BI (DAX, modeling, dashboards) 
  • SQL Server and relational database experience 
  • Experience with financial and operational data 

Strongly Preferred: 

  • Azure ETL experience 
  • ERP-integrated environments (Newstar or similar) 
  • Multi-source pipelines and API integrations 
  • Construction / homebuilding experience
  • Power BI enterprise deployment experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We are an in-person culture with a core work schedule of 8:00am - 5:00pm, including a required daily morning huddle that begins at 8:00am in-office. While schedules may vary based on business need, this role typically operates in a high-demand environment and may require extended hours, often averaging above a standard 40-hour workweek.
