Job description

Position Title: Remote BI Project Manager

Location: Remote

Compensation: $49.00 - $51.00 / Per Hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Project Manager Requirements (70%):

•This candidate will be responsible for delivering projects "end-to-end", meaning they will oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure. 

•Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum key principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

•Understand Project Management Methodology

•Can work in a fast-paced environment, and solid communication as they will be doing status reports, KPI's, leading stand-up's for Developers

*Preferably a PM within a Business Intelligence or Data Analytics environment.

Business Analyst Requirements (30%):

•Gathering requirements from senior level business stakeholders

•Translate requirements into readable user stories for Data Engineers and Architects to understand

•Strong communication is key for this BA- will present to leadership on a weekly or biweekly basis

Technical Requirements:

• Strong understanding of BI tools and platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric

• Familiarity with data and an understanding of complex data projects

Nice To Haves:

• Insurance Industry experience

• SOX and/or Audit experience

• Experience in Python and R coding language

• Microsoft technology exposure to Power Apps, or Power Automate
