Overview

Shawnee Mission Kia is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our growing dealership team. This role is critical in driving sales by handling inbound and outbound customer communications, setting appointments, and delivering a top-tier customer experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a dealership BDC environment or a high-volume, competitive phone-based appointment setting role. This position requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales setting.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all incoming internet, phone, and text inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to generate and confirm sales and service appointments
  • Effectively communicate with prospective customers to understand needs and guide them toward scheduling dealership visits
  • Follow up consistently with leads using CRM tools, email, phone, and text
  • Confirm appointments and ensure customers show for scheduled visits (“show rate focus”)
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
  • Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Meet or exceed monthly appointment-setting and show-rate goals
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working in a competitive, performance-driven environment

Qualifications
