The Bakery Supervisor in the Deli Department is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery section. This role involves ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods, maintaining inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate special orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
  • Place orders to replenish stock and ensure timely delivery.
  • Minimize waste through efficient production planning and inventory management.
  • Display baked goods attractively to enhance sales.
  • Implement promotional displays and seasonal themes.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust production as needed.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, special orders, and custom requests.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Promote bakery products and special offers.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, sales, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in developing and managing the bakery budget.
  • Monitor expenses as appropriate and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Culinary or baking certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a bakery preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
