Description
TradePending is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Strategic Accounts to lead and expand relationships with key enterprise clients in the automotive sector. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing customer lifetime value and serving as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts leveraging our SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership
  • Own and manage a portfolio of high-value automotive clients (OEMs, dealer groups, marketplaces, fleet operators)
  • Develop and execute long-term account strategies to drive growth, retention, and expansion
  • Build executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

Revenue Growth & Expansion
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within strategic accounts
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets, including ARR growth and net revenue retention
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewal processes

Customer Success & Value Realization
  • Ensure customers achieve measurable ROI from SaaS solutions
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally to influence product roadmap and innovation

Industry Expertise
  • Maintain deep knowledge of automotive trends (digital retailing, inventory management, connected vehicles, etc.)
  • Advise clients on best practices and digital transformation strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership
  • Coordinate internal resources to support account success and growth initiatives

Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor Strategic Account Managers or Account Executives
  • Establish KPIs, coaching frameworks, and performance management practices

Requirements
Qualifications
  • 8-12+ years of experience in Automotive SAAS. Lead Gen environments
  • 3-5+ years managing strategic or key accounts in a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing high value accounts
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce)
