Position Description

After Sales Launch Manager (ASLM) role is a key strategic component to the overall success of Mopar's timely and accurate support of a new vehicle program. The ASLM is responsible for the upfront engagement with Vehicle Engineering teams on designated programs to identify program requirements and communicate applicable Mopar requirements. The ASLM is considered the Mopar lead for their program(s) and remains engaged with his/her assigned programs throughout their lifecycle coordinating related Mopar impact assessments and launch readiness reports. Although this role resides within Technical Service Operations (TSO), the ASLM's responsibilities span across Mopar TSO, Parts Supply Chain, Accessories, Purchasing, and Technical Training.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Able to identify what items need to be addressed autonomously
  • Upfront engagement with Engineering as the Mopar liaison to communicate Mopar
    requirements/needs while documenting vehicle requirements
  • Cross-functional coordination with various levels of management to complete Mopar impact analyses and launch/dealer readiness assessments
  • Manage, track, and report critical Mopar deliverables to support vehicle program launches
  • Escalate issues early and quickly for resolution and awareness
  • Advance integration efforts with global counterparts with focus on new vehicle planning and readiness efforts
  • Prepare and effectively deliver executive management presentations related to MPR responsibilities
  • Assist with TSO / Mopar benchmarking activities

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, automotive, program management, engineering, or related field
  • Ability to interact and network effectively with various personality types
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills--written and verbal
  • Chinese (Mandarin) and English Speaking. Spanish is a bonus.
  • Efficient with office tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI, QlicSense
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of engineering and/or aftersales experience in the automotive or related industry (5 is preferred but can be flexible for candidates with strong skills)
  • Self-motivated, does not require constant direction, can prioritize and identify urgent needs
