THE ROLE

This is a Supply Chain Manager position responsible for overseeing production planning and control, material availability, inventory, supplier delivery, and logistics within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The role will lead and develop a supply chain team while ensuring materials move efficiently from suppliers through production.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead production planning, material planning, inventory control, supplier delivery, and logistics activities.

• Ensure materials and components are available in the correct quantities and on schedule to prevent production interruptions.

• Manage ERP/MRP processes, inventory accuracy, forecasting, supplier releases, and production-support activities.

• Oversee customs compliance, import/export processes, bonded warehouse activities, transportation, cross-dock operations, and packaging.

• Identify opportunities to reduce freight, packaging, inventory, and overall logistics costs.

• Support new automotive program launches and the transition from pre-production into mass production.

• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team by providing hands-on guidance and helping employees solve operational challenges.

• Stability: Join an established Tier 1 automotive supplier with opportunities for cross-training and long-term internal mobility.

What We’re Looking For

Our client is interested in speaking with supply chain, materials, production control, and logistics professionals who have experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong ERP/MRP knowledge, leadership ability, and experience supporting production planning, inventory, and supplier delivery are important. Automotive manufacturing, bonded warehouse, customs, import/export, CTPAT, or QAD experience is highly preferred but not required in every area.

• Two performance-based bonuses annually

• 401(k) retirement plan with company match
