Job Title: Fleet Manager

Location: Capitol Nissan-INFINITI
Department: Sales / Commercial & Fleet
Reports To: General Manage

Position Summary

Capitol Nissan-INFINITI is seeking an experienced and driven Fleet Manager to lead and grow our fleet and commercial vehicle business. This role is responsible for developing relationships with local and regional businesses, government agencies, and corporate clients, while managing all aspects of fleet sales from prospecting through delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong B2B sales skills, dealership experience, and a passion for building long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and grow the dealership’s fleet and commercial vehicle sales portfolio

  • Prospect and build relationships with local businesses, municipalities, rental companies, and corporate accounts

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all fleet customers, ensuring a high level of service and repeat business

  • Prepare and present fleet pricing, proposals, bids, and contracts

  • Coordinate with OEM fleet programs, incentives, and compliance requirements

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Service, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth transactions and timely deliveries

  • Track fleet leads, opportunities, and sales performance using CRM tools

  • Ensure accurate documentation, titling, and billing for all fleet transactions

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities

  • Represent Capitol Nissan-INFINITI at networking events, trade shows, and community outreach programs


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in fleet sales, commercial sales, or automotive dealership sales required

  • Strong understanding of Nissan and INFINITI fleet/commercial programs (preferred)

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic Microsoft Office tools

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
