Join OTC Fleet Services and Help Keep an Essential Fleet Moving
OTC Fleet Services is looking for a dependable Automotive Fleet Technician to join our Postal Service team at our Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility.
In this role, you'll perform inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles within the United States Postal Service fleet that OTC Fleet Services supports.
This is a fleet-focused position with consistent work, a Monday-Friday schedule, and the opportunity to become part of an established service team.
This position is employed by OTC Fleet Services and supports USPS fleet operations. This is not a position directly employed by the United States Postal Service.

Monday-Friday
7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Compensation
$25-$35 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
What You'll Do
As an Automotive Fleet Technician, your responsibilities may include:
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled services on fleet vehicles
  • Perform Pennsylvania State Inspections when properly licensed
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Complete general automotive repairs
  • Inspect and service brakes, tires, steering, suspension, lighting, batteries, fluids, and other vehicle systems
  • Identify worn, damaged, or unsafe components
  • Complete repairs needed to safely return vehicles to service
  • Accurately document inspections, maintenance, repairs, and parts used
  • Communicate vehicle condition and repair needs with management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow company procedures and established safety standards

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically capable, and takes pride in doing quality work.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Previous automotive, fleet, diesel, truck, equipment, or related mechanical experience
  • Hands-on experience performing vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to identify vehicle safety and maintenance concerns
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to safely operate automotive tools and shop equipment

Pennsylvania State Inspection certification and inspection experience are preferred.
Candidates with relevant automotive, fleet, diesel, truck, equipment, trade-school, or similar mechanical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
