Job Description
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and expanding their community bank's asset base through the profitable growth of its market share of retail and commercial lines of business. Responsible for providing supervision and direction for all community bank personnel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Assumes responsibility for designated community bank.
2. Monitors balance sheet and income statement for the community bank.
3. Provides supervision and direction for the community bank employees including Loan Officers, Loan Assistants, CSRs, and tellers. Has direct supervision of all aspects of the banking services provided by their designated community bank.
4. Monitors all activities of the community bank including new loan requests, past dues, classified loans, non-accruals, overdrafts, and exceptions.
5. Approves all request as directed by Lending Policy regulating such authority.
6. Serves as the bank representative in professional, business, and community organizations and events to promote bank services.
7. Assumes responsibility and is accountable for the loan portfolio in their market.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct day-to-day operations under the policy direction of CEO and board of directors.
  • Educate and develop personnel.
  • Maximize collaboration between lending and operations in designated community bank location.
  • Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
  • Dresses Professionally.

Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • Minimum of 10-20 years relevant industry and management experience.

  • Strong financial and regulatory expertise with the banking industry.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial analytical and underwriting skills.
