The following vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District
for the 2026-2027 school year:
Anticipated Instructional Aides
Dates: September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
Full-Time, 3 positions are available
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in working with students with disabilities

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of instruction to the students.
  • Assist teachers in helping students organize assignments, monitor their progress and set goals.
  • This position involves working with language/learning disability students as well students with autism.
  • Assist in managing behaviors of students.
  • Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to each student's special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.
  • Assist teachers in keeping administrative records or preparing required reports related to students.

Compensation: Following the established BTEA Salary Guideranging from $23,080.00 to $26,428.00, commensurate with experience.

  • Full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits.
  • Optical Reimbursement: Branchburg Township School District offers $325 per year towards optical reimbursement including prescription glasses or prescription contact lenses.
  • Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.
