Job description

The Role

Athena Club is looking for a Senior Associate of Operations to join our Supply Chain team at our New York HQ. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Supply Chain, this team member will be responsible for assisting in the management of day-to-day Supply Chain activities, ensuring that our products are in the right place, at the right time.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate purchase order management and regularly update internal systems and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with external factories to coordinate and monitor shipments, track deliveries, and maintain on-time production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and update POs and/or invoices independently, resolving discrepancies directly with vendors.
  • Act as the main point of contact with vendors and Accounts Payable for invoicing processes.
  • Support inventory tracking and forecast management to prevent out-of-stock or overstock scenarios.
  • Manage product SKU code database organization and UPC creation.
  • Identify process efficiencies and implement improvements promptly.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies and projects.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all supply chain activities.
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree with at least 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations. 
  • Experience at an omnichannel company (DTC + wholesale) is preferred.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in data manipulation and organization using Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong, collaborative partnerships with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a startup or rapidly growing company environment is a plus.
