Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Full Stack Architect to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end cloud solutions for PGE's business needs. This role combines expertise in data architecture, IT solution architecture, and full-stack development on the AWS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using a wide range of AWS services.
Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture
  • Design and implement cloudarchitectures on AWS for various workloads, including web applications,microservices, data pipelines, and analytics solutions.
  • Leverage AWS services such asEC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Amplify and others to buildrobust and scalable solutions.
  • Optimize cloud architecturesfor performance, scalability, reliability, security, andcost-effectiveness.
  • Implement DevOps practices,including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automateddeployment processes.

Data Architecture
  • Design and implement dataarchitectures on AWS using services like S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, andothers.
  • Build automated datapipelines for ETL/ELT processes using AWS data integration services.
  • Implement data governance,data quality, master data management, and metadata management processes.
  • Collaborate with dataengineers, analysts, and scientists to understand data requirements.

IT Solution Architecture
  • Gather and analyze businessrequirements and translate them into technical specifications andarchitectural designs.
  • Design and document thearchitecture for new IT solutions, including system integrations, dataflows, and AWS components.
  • Evaluate and recommendappropriate AWS services, third-party tools, and best practices to meetPGE's needs.
  • Conduct architectural reviewsand provide guidance to ensure adherence to standards and governancepolicies.

General
  • Provide technical leadership,mentorship, and knowledge-sharing to other IT and data professionals.
  • Collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of designedsolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with PGE'ssecurity, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience incloud architecture, data architecture, IT solution architecture, orrelated roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalentexperience.
  • Is utilities experiencerequired? (Y/N) N
  • Certification Requirements(Any Preferences): TOGAF , AWS certifications etc.
  • Strong expertise in a widerange of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, APIGateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena, Glue, , Kinesis, and others.
  • Proficiency in data modeling,dimensional modeling, and database design.
  • Knowledge of dataintegration, ETL/ELT processes, and tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprisearchitecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus
  • Strong programming skills inlanguages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Experience with DevOpspractices, including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automated deployment.
