Brief Description

The Software Engineer develops integrations between multiple DMP platforms.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to understand and debug programming languages and frameworks including PHP, Java, and Codeignitor.
  • Experience with web design and UI/UX.
  • Experience with scaling web applications.
  • Experience working with and creating API’s (SOAP, REST, and JSON).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develops integrations between multiple DMP systems to increase productivity.
  • Resolves problems and meets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Documents tasks in JIRA.
  • Prepares daily status updates for Director of Information Technology.
  • Engages in team code inspections and supports DMP coding standards.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of security industry and its products. Researches technologies applied in other industries, namely the computer and communications industries, for possible applications in the security industry.
  • Protects operation by keeping information confidential.
  • Observes company policies. Continuously strives to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements.
  • Observes and adheres to DMP Data Classification Standard.
  • May perform related duties or fill in for others in the department or other departments when requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding own duties.
  • Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.
