Job description


The Team
We are seeking an Associate Recruiter to join American Tower's Human Resources organization. Day to day you will provide talent acquisition support to the TA Team and to various hiring managers across the organization by partnering to identify external and internal talent for various openings. As an Associate Recruiter you will partner cross-functionally to deliver excellent talent acquisition support and drive success by providing a best-in-class experiences for candidates, recruiters and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
What You Can Offer Us
  • Coordinate the interview process, including scheduling in-person, video, and phone interviews for multiple recruiters and business hiring teams, as well as all related meetings including debriefs.
  • Full cycle recruitment activities for various roles working directly with the various members of the recruiting team, review resumes from various sources and determine which are selected for next steps and which are rejected; conduct phone interviews to prescreen candidates; make recommendations to Recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Work with Head of TA and Recruiters on campus recruiting efforts and initiatives by attending career fairs and campus engagement events and assessing entry-level and intern talent.
  • Help facilitate the summer intern program hiring in partnership with Business Leads, and HRBP's.
  • Own confirmation and follow-up correspondences to candidates regarding recruiting status via phone and e-mail.
  • Maintain job descriptions and compensation information within all systems.
  • Coordinate the internal recruitment process for as needed to ensure internal candidates receive a first-in-class experience.
  • Support various ad hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years Talent acquisition experience required.
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for positions in numerous disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
