The Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple programs and coordinating efforts to ensure that UTA delivers a quality, on-time, and cost-effective product. They are responsible for coordinating multiple projects that are critical to organizational goals. A Program Manager oversees the entire process and offers strategic guidance to the Director of Operations, while ensuring proper internal and external communications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review open action items and project schedules; organize daily activities based on the goals of the organization.
  • Manage Outside Service POs to support project schedules and on-time delivery
  • Respond to open customer questions or requests promptly
  • Facilitate customer engagement and support strategic growth initiatives
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Review customer orders, order changes and request for quotes
  • Facilitate team coordination and communication through team status meetings, corrective action collaboration, and one-on-one interface
  • Build new project schedules as needed with all resources and dates identified.
  • Plan follow-up meetings with necessary departments
  • Review production status to ensure programs are on track. Discuss any at-risk programs during the production meeting.
  • Provide UTA management team with a weekly status report on 30-, 60-, and 90-day revenue projections
  • Attend, participate, and lead as necessary - weekly production and procurement team meetings
  • Compile and review customer financial and delivery performance
  • Review WIP costs for accuracy and take action if WIP targets are not being met.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 years' experience in the Aerospace industry
  • 5 years' experience working with ERP systems (preferably Epicor)
  • Experience managing operational customer support teams
  • Must have related experience in both distribution and CNC machining
  • Strong understanding of procurement activities
  • Strong understanding of quoting activities
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Embraces multi-tasking
  • Must have a positive, "can do" attitude
  • Motivated, self-starter- must take on new roles and responsibilities as needed
  • Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.

POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time position. There may be times where there is an expectation to work extended hours as dictated by business needs.
