Job Title: Program Manager (Independent Contractor) Duration: 6-12-months (possibility of extension) Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Department: Hardware, Technical Services Point of Contact: Engineering Manager/Director Location: Olathe, KS

Vantage MedTech provides comprehensive design and manufacturing services, supporting the advancement of medical technologies from concept through to product realization. We develop and manufacture new products for the treatment of heart failure, cancer, stroke, Gene Therapy, COPD, TBI, Atrial Fibrillation, Blood Clots, Brain Surgery, and many more! Contractor shall provide Vantage with Program Management consulting services to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and programs.

Scope:
  • Developing and facilitating the execution of program strategies, governance structures, and implementation plans to achieve defined project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.

  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and coordinating project activities through all phases of the program lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, verification, and design transfer, as applicable.

  • Identifying and evaluating program risks, issues, dependencies, and potential impacts, and providing recommendations and mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.

  • Serving as a strategic advisor to company stakeholders and customers by providing project status updates, insights, recommendations, and guidance throughout the engagement.

  • Facilitating meetings, workshops, and decision-making processes to align stakeholders, address challenges, and support project execution.

  • Providing data-driven analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support informed business decisions and achievement of program objectives.

  • Recommending process improvements, best practices, and operational efficiencies to enhance project performance and execution effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise gained through 10+ years of providing program management, product development, engineering, or technical consulting services for complex projects and initiatives.

  • Experience supporting programs within medical device, healthcare technology, life sciences, or other regulated industries, with knowledge of applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, third- party partners, and executive-level engagement.

  • Strong working knowledge of product development processes, design controls, quality systems, regulatory requirements, commercialization activities, and related industry best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance, risk assessment, stakeholder facilitation, and project execution support in complex technical environments.
