Job description

About Blackbird:
Blackbird Labs is a loyalty and payments platform establishing meaningful connections between the world's best restaurants and their customers.
Served up in 2022 by Ben Leventhal, co-founder of Eater and Resy, Blackbird offers a fully customizable loyalty programming platform for restaurants and a consumer app designed to make every guest feel like a bonafide VIP no matter where they dine. Backed by Union Square Ventures, a16z, Amex Ventures, Variant Fund, and other forward-thinking investors, Blackbird is out to revolutionize the restaurant industry.
About Our Team:
At Blackbird, our values guide everything we do and our talent principles define the key traits we seek in our employees.
We have passion for our product - committed to our mission and instinctively think like and go the extra mile for our customers. We are elite performers - striving for excellence, going above and beyond to achieve exceptional results, and learning quickly with horsepower, drive, and grit. We make others better - taking initiative to elevate others, giving and receiving feedback, and championing a culture of growth. We hold one another accountable to living out our talent principles as we march together to achieving our mission.
About The Role
Blackbird is building the dining network the restaurant world has always deserved - one where the best guests are recognized, rewarded, and remembered. Our Blackbird Club members are the most devoted diners in the city. This role exists to make sure their experience is exactly what it should be.
The Loyalty Ops Associate owns the operational backbone of Blackbird Club membership. That means the Rewards work, the events run flawlessly, and our partner relationships are managed with the same care you'd expect from a great maître d'. You'll sit at the intersection of hospitality, events, and brand partnerships - building systems, holding relationships, and making sure what we promise actually happens.
What You'll Own
Blackbird Club Access
You're responsible for the operational strategy behind access-based Club Rewards - coordinating with restaurant partners, managing fulfillment, and closing the gap between what members are promised and what they actually experience. When something isn't working, you find out first.
Blackbird Presents Operations
Our event series brings Blackbird members and the restaurant world together in person. You'll own the full logistics cycle: ticketing setup, guest communications, venue coordination, and on-the-ground execution. You're the reason the night runs smoothly.
In addition, you'll lead ticketing operations for all Blackbird Events to ensure our best customers always have priority access and all users enjoy a seamless, brand accretive experience.
Blackbird Club Members Nights
In coordination with Integrated Marketing and Field Ops, you'll take accountability for all "turnkey" event programming - ensuring consistency, frequency, attendance and member engagement objectives are met.
Loyalty Partnerships
Blackbird's partnership with Mercedes connects two communities that care about craft and experience. You'll manage the operational day-to-day - coordinating activations, tracking deliverables, and serving as the working point of contact between both teams for Club benefits. As we build our Loyalty partnerships ecosystem, you'll lead onboarding and ongoing management of our partnerships.
What We're Looking For
  • 4-6 years in operations, events, partnerships, or loyalty - ideally within hospitality, media, or consumer lifestyle brands
  • A genuine love of restaurants and the culture around them
  • Sharp organizational instincts and a clear bias toward action
  • Comfortable holding relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders at the same time, without dropping the thread
  • Experience with ticketing platforms and event logistics tools
  • Able to own a project from first draft to final execution without someone following up

Pay Transparency Notice & Benefits
Depending on your work location and experience, the target annual salary for this position can range from $110,000-130,000 USD. This range does not include the equity component of the overall compensation package. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.
Full-time offers from Blackbird may also include stock options, benefits (including medical, dental, vision, flexible time off, 401(k)), and some not-so-standard, extra-fun perks - subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility.
Commitment to Equal Opportunity
Blackbird Labs is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sex, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation or any other basis protected by applicable law.
