What you will do

The Associate Marketing Manager, HCP US Neutrogena Activation role will lead strategy and execution to strengthen Neutrogena’s position as the standard of care in one of its priority need states (i.e. Face) among HCPs (Healthcare Professionals). This role is responsible for supporting sales staff through developing and enhancing sales materials, managing trade shows and conferences, and evaluating marketing programs to drive dermatologist recommendations. This role bridges clinical credibility and modern brand marketing, translating science into compelling, compliant education and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

HCP Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Own the HCP marketing strategy for a Neutrogena Need State, aligned with brand vision, clinical evidence, and long-term growth objectives

  • Translate clinical data into clear, credible, and approachable messaging that builds trust and drives recommendation

  • Serve as brand steward ensuring scientific rigor, integrity, and consistency across all HCP touchpoints

Scientific & Clinical Communication

  • Develop and manage HCP educational channels, including leave-behinds, digital assets, peer-to-peer content, and congress materials partnering with Professional Affairs and Conference Team

  • Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and appropriate use of claims and amplification of science

  • Partner with global partner on mechanism of action, efficacy, and regimen adherence storytelling grounded in evidence with HCP agency

Field & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with sales leadership to develop field tools, training materials, and selling stories that resonate with HCPs

  • Support launch planning, detailing strategy, and ongoing optimization of sales materials

  • Gather and synthesize field feedback to continuously improve HCP engagement

External Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Support KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) engagement, advisory boards, conferences and educational initiatives in partnership with the Professional Affairs team

  • Partner on congress strategy, symposia, and professional education programs

  • Monitor competitive landscape and emerging science to inform innovation and messaging

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Upstream HCP, Consumer Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Contract HCP Sales, Market Research, and Digital teams

  • Lead agency partners (creative & media) to deliver best-in-class HCP creative and education

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and KPIs for HCP initiatives

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

  • A minimum of 5-6 years of progressive experience in sales support, marketing, or related roles within the healthcare or consumer products industry

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research and sales data to inform strategic decisions

  • Proven experience in coordinating trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively support sales teams and engage stakeholder

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills

  • Candidates must demonstrate critical thinking skills, have strong negotiation skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented

  • Self-starter, ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, highly complex, matrixed environment is required

  • Ability to influence key partners with ideas that build value is preferred

  • Proven expertise in crafting and executing innovative HCP activation strategies that effectively influence prescribing behaviors and brand loyalty

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for diverse professional audiences

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and internal teams

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a passion for mentoring and driving collaborative success in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment

  • Demonstrated capability to develop and enhance sales support materials based on research insights

  • Experience in product development feasibility studies and competitive market analysis

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$110,500.00 - $156,000.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
