Job description

Independent Advisor Alliance is now Visionary Square! Marketing Coordinator

Visionary Square is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. This role supports marketing initiatives across the full scope of what we do โ€” promoting Visionary Square and its solutions directly, as well as delivering the marketing support that our partner advisors receive when they opt into our marketing solution. Youโ€™ll take strategic direction from the Marketing Manager and help turn it into a concrete monthly marketing plan, write the copy that brings that plan to life across blogs, email, and social media, and serve as a day-to-day point of contact for partner advisors โ€” presenting the plan each month and managing that relationship.

Youโ€™ll work alongside a small, specialized marketing team and report to the Marketing Manager. This role bridges strategy and execution and keeps the marketing team and the advisors we support closely connected.

What Youโ€™ll Do: Planning & Execution
  • Help translate the Marketing Managerโ€™s strategy and priorities into a monthly marketing plan with clear themes, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team members to keep the monthly plan on track.
  • Track plan progress and flag risks or timeline issues to the Marketing Manager.
Copywriting & Content
  • Write, edit, and publish blog content aligned to monthly themes, SEO/AEO, and content goals.
  • Write email campaigns and newsletters, including segmentation and personalization in coordination with HubSpot features.
  • Write copy for social media posts and paid advertising campaigns, maintaining consistent brand voice.
  • Partner with our creative team member to pair copy with visuals/design.
Partner Relationship Management
  • Serve as a day-to-day marketing point of contact for a portfolio of partner advisors.
  • Present the monthly marketing plan to partner advisors โ€” walking through content, campaigns, and results in a way thatโ€™s clear and relevant to their business.
  • Gather advisor feedback and input, and relay it to the Marketing Manager to help shape future monthly plans.
  • Build trusted, responsive relationships with advisors so marketing is seen as an accessible, reliable partner.
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • 2-4 years of marketing experience; agency experience strongly preferred โ€” comfortable juggling multiple accounts/stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Design experience creating marketing collateral (e.g., in Canva, Adobe, or similar tools) a plus.
  • Comfortable presenting to external stakeholders (partner advisors) on a recurring basis.
  • Experience with marketing automation/CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) a plus.
  • Collaborative style โ€” this role works closely with marketing teammates and other departments daily, and reports directly into the Marketing Manager for strategic direction.
  • Strong writing skills across formats โ€” blogs, email, and social โ€” with the ability to adapt tone for different channels and audiences.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently across content and design tasks.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to keep a monthly planning cadence on track and coordinate with multiple contributors.
  • Financial services, RIA, or wealth management industry experience a plus, but not required.

Visionary Square operates on a hybrid model, requiring in-office attendance in Charlotte on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This is not a fully remote position; candidates must be local or plan to relocate.
