Associate Producer
Job Overview:
The Associate Producer is responsible for the completion of projects assigned by management. This includes tasks such as writing, editing and conceptualization of projects and campaigns. In addition, the Associate Producer is to assist throughout the whole production process of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work along with the Producer and Senior Producer to develop program concepts and ideas. • Lead projects assigned throughout the production process
• Conceptualizing video projects for different platforms
• Demonstrate knowledge of production set ups including cameras, lighting, and audio • Develop video scripts for projects assigned
• Coordinating production set ups for audio visual capture.
• Active involvement in the creative side of the job by pitching ideas, helping to develop stories and scripts and suggesting improvements and collaborating with the editors
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects for video editing when necessary
• Schedule meetings with necessary team members to coordinate recordings, vision, etc to execute projects and campaigns
• Ensures proper communication with necessary team members for proper execution of projects and campaigns
• Responsible for creating visuals to provide to the team for execution
• Collaborate with social media and marketing teams for projects and campaigns
• Assist Senior Producer and Producer during large projects and campaigns such as CAP, Youth Conference, Women's Conference, etc.
• Operate cameras during pre-recorded sessions, webcast, services, events, etc. • Local, national and international travel may be required
• Additional duties as assigned
Professional Qualifications
• Time management and multi-tasking abilities to handle and prioritize several tasks in one day to meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Problem-solving skills to quickly solve unexpected problems that may arise on set and make important decisions when the Producer is unavailable
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Degree); or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
