Job description

At Bath & Body Works, we believe everybody deserves to feel good. When you join us, you're part of more than an iconic fragrance and personal care brand — you become part of Gingham Nation, where people are at the center of everything we do.

We believe great associate experiences create great consumer experiences. When our associates feel supported, inspired and empowered, consumers feel it. Whether you're starting your career or building your next chapter, we invest in your growth so you can learn, lead and help create feel good moments every day.

We’re looking for a curious, technically minded, and motivated early-career professional to join our Creative Technologies team as an Associate Applications Analyst — with a unique opportunity to also support our Product Hub platform as a shared resource! This role sits at the intersection of art, technology, and enterprise data — supporting the platforms and tools that power our Design, Marketing, Stores Design & Construction, and Merchandising functions, as well as the master product data that flows across the enterprise.
From product concept and packaging to store environments, go-to-market campaigns, and the underlying product master data that enables it all, the systems we support help bring the BBW brand to life across every customer touchpoint. You’ll partner with creative and business teams, technical peers, vendor partners, and our procurement team — while learning industry-leading tools such as Centric, Digital Asset Management, Adobe Creative Cloud, CAD platforms, marketing workflow tools, and Oracle-based product data platforms.

 Responsibilities

Learn the Business, the Creative Ecosystem, and the Data Platform
• Build foundational knowledge of the systems that support Design, Marketing, Stores Design & Construction, and Merchandising workflows.
• Learn our Product Hub platform — including how product master data is created, governed, and distributed to downstream systems.
• Shadow senior analysts and technical peers to understand end-to-end processes — from product design and sample development to store rollout, marketing campaigns, and the product data that enables merchandising execution.
• Learn how creative content, product data, marketing assets, and master data flow across systems and teams.

Support Creative Technology & Product Hub Applications
• Provide day-to-day application support to designers, marketers, store planners, merchants, and their partners.
• Diagnose user issues, application defects, and data quality issues; follow established procedures for maintenance, monitoring, and on-call support.

Support the Product Hub platform initiatives.
• Assist with user access, permissions, workflow configurations, template management, metadata standards, and data governance activities.
• Communicate issue status clearly to users, teammates, and leaders in a fast environment.
• Help maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documentation that's technical in nature, and data dictionaries.
• Coordinate vendor support tickets, issue elevations, enhancement requests, and release/upgrade activities — ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Support the procurement lifecycle in partnership with senior analysts, leadership, and the Procurement team — including gathering requirements, participating in RFI/RFP evaluations, and reviewing vendor proposals.

Contribute to Projects & Enhancements
• Support project planning, documentation, and administrative activities across Creative Technology and Product Hub initiatives.
• Assist with translating business requests into functional requirements, process flows, and configuration or data specifications.

Testing & Solution Validation
• Contribute to test planning and execution across functional, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.
• Support defect tracking, resolution, and re-testing activities.

Continuous Improvement & Curiosity
• Look for opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve collaboration between creative, business, and technical teams.
• Share ideas that leverage technology (including automation, integrations, and AI-enabled tools) to elevate the creative process and improve data quality.

Collaboration & Communication
• Partner with Design, Marketing, Stores Design & Construction, and Merchandising business users, as well as Product Hub data stewards, integration teams, Procurement, and external vendors.
• Communicate technology and data concepts in a way that resonates with both creative and technical audiences.

 Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (including internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects).
  • An engineering, computer science, information systems, or similar technical background — through education, internships, projects, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle is a plus).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnosing skills with an engineering mentality.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills — with the ability to translate between creative, business, and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Degrees in Business, Marketing, Design, Fashion Merchandising, or Retail Management may also be considered when paired with deep technical skills or hands-on engineering experience.

  • Drives Results
