Job description

Who we are

The real world is the next frontier, and at Metropolis, we are creating the artificial intelligence to make it responsive. We are pioneering the Recognition Economy - a future where mundane repetition disappears and being known unlocks access, comfort, and belonging everywhere you go. From transforming parking into a seamless drive-in, drive-out experience for millions of Members to expanding our intelligence layer across retail and hospitality, we are building a world that feels instinctive and magical. The future isn't coming; it's here, and we need builders, innovators, and problem solvers to help us create it.

Who you are

Metropolis is seeking an Associate Account Executive to drive the commercial expansion and strategic growth of our Healthcare & Institutional vertical. In this role, you will own the commercial sales lifecycle-from vertical pipeline development and quarterbacking high-stakes RFP processes to directly negotiating and closing your own deals. Working within an experienced and fast-growing commercial team, you will act as a consultant to help healthcare systems, hospital networks, and large institutional stakeholders optimize their campus operations and parking infrastructure using cutting-edge AI technology.

What you'll do
  • Own the end-to-end RFP (Request for Proposal) lifecycle, directly managing complex, multi-threaded institutional bidding processes from initial discovery to development of the response to final proposal delivery
  • Execute vertical growth strategies to independently source, navigate, and qualify high-value institutional and healthcare opportunities
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle for designated accounts, directly navigating structured procurement environments to close net-new business
  • Participate in complex discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and formal presentations tailored to hospital administrators, facilities leaders, procurement teams, and executive healthcare stakeholders
  • Identify and qualify opportunities in order to partner with Company leadership on strategic health system accounts while autonomously driving your own independent vertical deal pipeline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and legal to design, analyze, and approve custom healthcare-specific narratives, financial underwriting models, and compliance considerations
  • Maintain complete strategic oversight of vertical sales metrics within Salesforce to optimize pipeline development and accurately forecast revenue
What we're looking for
  • 2+ years of relevant B2B sales, strategic account management, or consultative experience selling into healthcare systems, hospital networks, or large institutional environments (e.g., facilities, utilities, public safety, parking, or similar campus services)
  • Proven track record of independently navigating, negotiating, and closing commercial business agreements, with a superior writing ability and demonstrated comfort running rigid institutional RFP processes
  • Strong expertise in building executive-level professional networks and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder institutional buying journeys
  • Experience building customized client presentations and product demonstrations, tailoring value propositions to diverse audiences from facilities managers to C-suite administrators
  • Experience evaluating sales metrics, manage pipeline health, and contribute directly to financial deal underwriting and creative P&L structuring
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and business maturity to manage competing commercial priorities without losing sight of critical compliance and operational details
  • Proficiency with advanced CRM architecture, specifically Salesforce, and modern sales enablement tools
  • Ability to travel regularly to support face-to-face field prospecting, site assessments, and client negotiations across the vertical footprint
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes

4 Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. Our corporate team members hold to our office-first model, which requires employees to be on-site at least four days a week, fostering organic interactions that spark creativity and connection.

When you join Metropolis, you'll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. Our goal is to build an inclusive culture where everyone has a voice and the best idea wins. You will play a key role in building and maintaining this culture as our organization grows. The anticipated base salary for this position is $75,000.00 USD to $95,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more. #LI-KD1 #LI-Onsite
