Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and fast-paced Associate Account Executive to support our Domestic Sales team within a growing dietary supplement manufacturing environment. This role is designed for an individual who is eager to learn the business, develop strong operational and customer management skills, and grow into a full Account Executive position over time.

The Associate Account Executive will work closely with the senior account manager and cross-functional departments to support customer accounts, manage administrative and operational tasks, assist with order processing and reporting, and help ensure excellent customer service throughout the order lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in supporting account operations while helping drive efficiency and responsiveness across the sales team.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, intelligent, highly organized, and capable of thinking critically — not someone who simply completes routine administrative tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes initiative, and is interested in long-term professional growth within account management and customer relations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executives with day-to-day account management and customer support activities
  • Process purchase orders and related customer documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with customer reporting, order tracking, forecasting updates, and account maintenance
  • Coordinate internally with departments including Production, Planning, Purchasing, QA, Packaging, and Logistics to support customer needs and timelines
  • Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on outstanding items to help ensure timely execution
  • Maintain organized account records, project timelines, specifications, and customer communications
  • Participate in customer calls, meetings, and internal discussions to gain exposure to account management responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing quotes, presentations, spreadsheets, and customer-facing documentation
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on customer presentations, sales materials, trade show assets, and related support materials
  • Provide administrative and operational support to improve overall efficiency within the sales department
  • Learn customer accounts, manufacturing processes, and internal systems with the goal of taking on increasing levels of responsibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, sales support, project coordination, or administrative support preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Experience in manufacturing, dietary supplements, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related industries is a plus
