Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Support the Test Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations and administrative tasks
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient test kitchen and studio environment
  • Assist on photo and video shoots by preparing ingredients, organizing materials, and supporting production needs
  • Test and develop recipes as assigned, ensuring consistency and quality standards
  • Organize and maintain back-of-house storage areas, kitchen tools, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and properly organize weekly grocery deliveries and supplies
  • Shop for groceries and kitchen essentials as needed for shoots and recipe development
  • Prep ingredients and complete mise en place to support smooth execution of culinary productions


Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, culinary, food media, or related environment, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong cooking skills and confidence working in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a dynamic production environment
  • Enthusiasm for food media, digital content, and the Delish brand
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move groceries, kitchen equipment, and supplies as needed
  • This role is based in New York City and requires in-office presence 4 days per week

The hourly rate for this role is $22/hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
