Front Desk Receptionist (Medical Office)- Full-Time

Location: Fuquay, NC

Salary: $17–$19 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team in Fuquay, NC. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a medical office front desk role, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and return patient phone calls professionally and efficiently

  • Greet and check in patients; verify demographics and insurance information

  • Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding balances

  • Check insurance eligibility and update EMR records

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments

  • Process patient check-outs and manage recalls

  • Balance daily payment batches across multiple systems

  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk area

  • Assist with prescription logging and retail/cosmetic product coordination

  • Utilize EMR and payment systems (NexTech, EMA, CareCredit, ALLE, PayJunction, ModMed Pay – training provided as needed)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of medical office front desk experience required

  • 1+ year of customer service experience

  • Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
