Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of the Gateway Clubhouse. In this key leadership role, you will ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented programming that aligns with Clubhouse International standards while supporting our members' goals for independence, employment, and community integration. You will work closely with the Director of Brain Injury Services, staff, and members to maintain a welcoming, productive, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Clubhouse, including the Work-Ordered Day structure (clerical, culinary, maintenance, outreach, and employment units).
  • Collaborate with members to plan, coordinate, and facilitate meaningful work tasks, activities, and social events that promote skill-building, cognitive recovery, and social connection.
  • Supervise, train, and support Clubhouse staff and volunteers; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with Clubhouse Model standards, organizational policies, funding requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Manage program schedules, facility maintenance, inventory, and administrative systems to support efficient operations.
  • Track program outcomes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to grant reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, employers, healthcare providers, and referral sources.
  • Support vocational and transitional services, including supported employment and community outings.
  • Handle member intake processes, goal planning, and crisis response as needed in coordination with clinical or support staff.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and continuous program development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation, Social Work, Psychology, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in program operations, preferably in a Clubhouse Model, brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, or disability services setting.
  • Proven leadership and staff supervision experience with a collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with grant-funded programs, outcome measurement, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Passion for working with adults with brain injuries and a commitment to dignity, empowerment, and inclusion.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
Compensation
$46,000 - $52,000
